Here's a new problem to work on:
(adapted from CEMC Problems Problems Problems Volume 6, p.26)
1975-G-26

A perfect number is a number which equals the sum of its proper divisors.  For example, 6 is a perfect number because 6 = 1+2+3. The next perfect number is:
(A)  28   (B)  16   (C)  24   (D)  8   (E)  36

Please work on this problem and submit to Miss Skelton or Mrs. Kennedy over the next week.  Or, if you're able to join our blog, please submit your solution in the comments below.

Our next meeting is on Monday, October 21st at second recess. Please come prepared to join a committee.

Have a GR8 week!
Miss Skelton :)
